Liturgical Preparation Opportunities
Sunday Mass Coordinator
The Sunday Mass Coordinators organize the details surrounding our weekend liturgies: 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. They are responsible for the preparation of the unconsecrated Bread & Wine, placement of cups, patens and linens, monitoring the attendance of distributors, lectors and servers, and substituting when necessary. Each Mass has its own distinctive requirements.

Weekday Mass Coordinator
The weekday Mass Coordinator organizes details for the weekday morning liturgies: Monday, Thursday, and Friday at 8:30 a.m., arranging for lectors and distributors as well as assuming the responsibility of the preparation of the altar, the unconsecrated Bread & Wine, placements of cups, patens and linens.
We’re always looking for backup and support. Contact Al Schirmer at 471-4257 if you are able to assist with this ministry. (Note: Weekday Mass will be cancelled if a funeral is scheduled for that day.)
Funeral Mass Coordinator
The Funeral Mass is a very detailed Mass requiring many unique features. Besides being responsible for the preparation of the altar, the unconsecrated bread & wine, placement of cups, plates and linens, this Mass requires the use of the Easter Candle, incense, the funeral pall, and holy water among other things ... all which are prepared by the coordinator.

Communion Service Presiders
This ministry allows parishioners to receive daily Communion on days when Masses are not celebrated at our Church. The Communion Service provides the daily scripture readings and the distribution of the already consecrated Body of Christ.
Communion Service is provided on Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. The coordinator is Al Schirmer, 471-4257. (Note: communion service will be cancelled when a Funeral Mass is celebrated.)
Decorating Committee
The function of this committee is to study, design and set up appropriate decorations to enhance worship in the Church. Often, decorations are essential for special liturgical celebrations. They can range from traditional to contemporary depending on the nature of the liturgy.
